Gargoyle Arctic SHC 226E is a fully synthetic high quality lubricant developed specifically for severe service in
refrigeration systems with flooded type evaporators. It is formulated from wax free, synthesised hydrocarbon
fluids, which have outstanding resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation. With naturally high shear stable
viscosity index and low temperature fluidity, it is able to perform in severe service conditions that are beyond
the capabilities of conventional mineral oils. Gargoyle Arctic SHC 226E reduces frictional losses and improves
machine operating efficiency. This unique formulation prevents fractionation better than other synthetic
lubricants when used in presence of poorly miscible refrigerant such as R22.
